The Overall Objective

Overalls have been all the rage for the last few seasons. You see them being styled up and styled down and that's why we LUH (love) them and why we believe you need a pair in your closet!

Before going out and buying an expensive pair of overalls, try hitting up the local thrift store in your neighborhood and head straight to the jeans area or mens wear.

*If you live in Dallas, I've found several pair at Garland Thrift on Garland Road

Overalls and over the knee boots, long coat, and clutch...BOOM

Overalls and statement neck-wear (or scarf)....

Overalls with tights (even a patterned tight), leather, and lace...

Overalls with a patterned top and statement neck-wear...

Overalls with fun knit hat, long sleeve top, clutch, red coat, and bomb heels...

Ladies, again, this is all about having fun and making your own statement!

Bringing Overalls Back

Good Morning Lovely Readers! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend - I know I did! My weekend included hitting up the Goodwill and found something amazing (that will be on the blog later this week), had a wonderful trail ride - rain held off so we could go, my BFF and her hubby came into town and we went to one of my fav restaurants and lastly took our foster dog to the dog park. Hate to see the weekend end but happy to show you today's Re-Created Look =)

Today's look includes Overalls. Yes - I just said Overalls and it may make you feel like you are back in circa 1993 but they are making a come back and I have been seeing them every where! So thought it was time for us to Re-Create this look for less.

I follow several fashion blogs (we will be listing them in the near future on the blog so you can see where we get a lot of our inspiration) and this girl is always on point over at Kitties and Couture.

Fun Finds in red...

We didn't get out this week but here are some blast from the past finds that we've found in red! 

Red is a great holiday fall color. Pull out your reds and variations of and spread some early holiday cheer.

Oh how I am in love with the latest re-creation with the red skirt. Red is such a bold color and can initially be a little scary to wear if your aren't used to being a little experimental with your style, but that's ok, that's what we are here for! We are going to coach you into this color.

I've found a couple options for you below to try out...in red!

variations of red. try burgundy for fall

pleats with basic white and nude shoes

in lace with black suede pumps

in leather with everything else in black

comfortably with jeans and a floppy hat

as a mix and pattern

on your lips and fingers

on your feet!
