Cape-Town!

Let's just be honest, capes are just a tad bit awkward to wear but boy are they classic! They work with all body types and can be a fun flirty "mysterious" way of adding character to your wardrobe.

You may not be much of a flashy gal but add a cape to your selection for the Fall/Winter and jump right into a timeless must-have! For those that are a little bit more daring with their clothing, add some brooches, a fur collar (like above), or wear your cape in color for a dash more of what you're already doing!

Whaki 4 Khaki

First off I think the title of this blog is super cute, HA!

Secondly, we are continuing to celebrate the khaki coat. It's an essential piece that everyone should have in their closets, even guys. 

You can find a great khaki coat at Old Navy, Banana Republic, and J.Crew. I've also found plenty of 'good condition' coats at my local thrift for less then $10 - name brand too!!!

We are honoring the Khaki jacket from yesterday's blog by showing you several different looks to wear your Khaki jacket. Don't be afraid to use your khaki jacket with all kinds of styles and looks - you can dress it up with a lace dress or make it edgy with leather pants.

UPDATE!!!

Hey friends!

We are so sorry we haven't been able to post frequent blogs for the last two weeks! Me and Lauren have been working non stop on various projects for church and personally! 

We had a big event at church a couple of weeks ago and we're coming down after six months of preparation for that. Lauren has attended riding camp this week, she loves horses! I have been working like crazy and unable to sit and write. 

However, we miss you and just wanted to give you a little update as to what we are up to.

Sequins and SHINE

Ladies! We are BACK! 

As Myles mentioned in some of the posts last week - it was crazy busy for us both but we are ready to get back on track and start posting some Re-created looks!

Today's look is inspired by this weekend's women's conference that Myles and I were both a part of called SHINE.  I decided to recreate a look using one of our past SHINE women's conference t-shirts and a sequin jacket.

If you see the look below - we pulled this hot little number from Pinterest. Loved how she mixed the every day with something sparkly and brought it to another level!

We don't have any sourcing in regards to pricing for this outfit but we can tell you how we Re-Created it.

This week we are getting excited about SHINE! Shine is an ah-mazing women's conference that me and Lauren's church puts on every year for women. It's a time where we are bombarded with reminders that we are the twinkle in GOD's eye! It's a beautiful time.
