Street Style

I was in Tiff's Treats and saw its young lady all suited up for Fall and it got me all excited about scarves and boots! 

If you live in Texas you can get away with wearing boots and shorts, scarves and short skirts! It's a luxury! 

I also want to shout out my Lil'Bro, he knows how to  put together a good thrifted outfit and rocks it with the upmost confidence.

How To Retro

Retro is definitely a style that everyone woman can pull off with the essentials we mentioned yesterday.

You don't have to go and purchase anything special other than a nice red lip that suits your complexion. 

Grab a fun colorful scarf and wrap it around your head or neck. 

Look for a classic pair of black sunnies that will complement those red lips.

Snap on a sweet pair of pearls from my mother or grand ma ma's jewelry box.

And find yourself some vintage silhouettes; full skirts, flats, starched button downs, and your good!

Think Audrey Hepburn who is the quid essential vintage queen.

Happy Monday Lovelies! Why is today happy you ask?? Well because yesterday we had a photo shoot and I have some new recreated looks ready to show you which makes me giddy =)

Today's recreated look takes us back... think vintage... think pin up... think head scarf and red lips!

Below is the look we pulled from Pinterest. This outfit jumped off the pages at me and I knew I had to recreate this look. Don't you love the pin up look?


Pennies and Recreation found this look for pennies! The shirt was given to us while waiting in line at resale shop - who does that right?! The lady in front was going to try to resale it but after a short convo with Myles she decided to give it to her and now it is part of the Pennies and Recreation collection. Love the backless look for summer.

Falling in love with Fall Shoes

The weather today definitely seems "fallish"  - is that a word?!?  Anyways - it is cooler today and rainy. Makes me want to cuddle up on the couch, watch an old movie and drink pumpkin lattes - who's with me?
